ABOUT
Wheel of Life Studio is a small, creative space tucked away in Brunswick Heads, built around a love of clay, community, and slow making.
Founded in 2005 by ceramic artist Lucy Vanstone, the studio began as a simple working space—just a few wheels, a kiln, and a desire to make things by hand. Over time, it’s grown naturally into something more: a place where people can come together to learn, create, and share in the process.
Lucy’s approach to pottery has always been grounded and intuitive. For her, working with clay isn’t just about the finished piece—it’s about the rhythm of it, the feel of it, and the way it brings people back into their hands and into the present. That same feeling runs through the studio itself.
These days, Wheel of Life Studio is home to regular workshops, open studio time, and a small gallery space that celebrates local makers. It’s a space for beginners getting their hands dirty for the first time, as well as more experienced artists looking for somewhere to settle into their practice.
