Terms and Conditions
CO-WORKING
All co-workers using the space are responsible for leaving it in the condition they found it in. Fees will be charged for any cleaning or repairs that are incurred.
We reserve the right to refuse entry at any time to any person who we deem unsuitable or disrespectful of the workspace.
Wheel of Life Studio takes no responsibility for personal injury that occurs during work time within the studio. Individuals hiring the space must ensure they have all necessary insurance, accreditations and qualifications for their activity. Equipment and liability is your own responsibility, our insurance can’t cover it.
As a shared workspace and public events venue, we take our utmost care to ensure the safety of you and your property. However, we take no responsibility for any possessions broken, stolen and/or misplaced at the studio. Any personal property left unlocked at the studio is left at your own risk.
VENUE HIRE & GROUP BOOKINGS
Wheel of Life studios is an approved educational establishment / gallery for 20 students.
Our aim is to support the local community with enriching and wholesome events. Please feel free to discuss any ideas of work shops or events you wish to hold. Concessions for not for profit organisations.
The Wheel of Life Studios reserves the right to refuse entry at any time to any person who they deem unsuitable for the space. The Wheel of Life Studios reserves the right to cancel Hall Hire agreement at any time for disruptive or illegal behaviour
Groups and individuals hiring the space for events and workshops must ensure they have all necessary insurance, accreditations and qualifications for their activity. Wheel of Life Studios takes no responsibility for personal injury that occurs during a workshop or event hosted by a group or individual hiring the venue.
Studio Hire Rates
20% discount given on 3 or more bookings (discount applied on 3rd booking invoice)
EVENING VENUE HIRE MONDAY – THURSDAY 5.30- 9PM $90WEEKEND VENUE HIRE
Half day hire $120-$150 9am -1pm or 2pm -5pm
Full day hire Saturday or Sunday 9am -5pm $200 -$240
Friday, Saturday or Sunday evening 5pm- 9pm $120-$150
Friday 2pm set up – Sunday 5pm . $600. Perfect for pop up exhibitions, weekend workshops.
A security BOND of $50 will be required with ALL Studio hire fees, this is a refundable bond which will be held by the Wheel of Life Studio up until after the agreed Hire period and the keys are returned. In the event of any breakages or cleaning charges the bond will be used to cover costs of repair.
In order to book the Studio for your workshop, fill out our BOOKING ENQUIRY FORM we will get back to you to arrange a time to meet up or chat.
Once a date has been confirmed, we will email you an invoice. Your booking is secured upon payment.
Cancellations
In the event of cancellations, Wheel of Life will refund 100% of your hire fee when cancellations are made more than 4 weeks prior to the booking date. Cancellations made more than two weeks prior to booking date will receive a 50% refund. We are unable to offer any refund for cancelations under 2 weeks.
All persons using the space are responsible for returning the space to the condition they found it in. Please notify us of any concerns via email. Extra fees will be charged for any cleaning or repairs that are incurred.
Upon exiting, please ensure All lights, hot water system and air conditioning unit is switched off. Kitchen cleaned, with bins emptied and bathroom checked and ALL doors are locked, including the bathroom.
The bond will be returned once keys are returned and premises checked to be in order.
Insurance
You must have public liability insurance in order to run workshops at The Wheel of Life Studio and we require that you provide a Certificate of Currency for ‘Public Liability Insurance’. It needs to show that you are covered for the facilitation of workshops or classes at a hired venue, away from your usual place of business. Failure to do so might result in cancellation of your workshop and loss of your hire-fee.
If you are running workshops for children, you must have a current valid ‘Working with Children Check’. Please ensure participants with young children are under adult supervision at all times.Children are not allowed in the kitchen You agree to cover any damage caused by yourself or participants to our premises. Candlelight or open fires of any kind are not allowed unless given prior permission.
Promotions and Booking
Please note you are responsible for your own marketing. We encourage you to build your own workshop business and we, therefore, leave the marketing to you,.You simply hire the space from us and you organise your participants in accordance with your own business guidelines, payment systems and policies.
Wheel of Life Studios will promote events and workshops held in the venue at its discretion. Promotions Wheel of Life will offer include:
A listing on our website for your workshop
Mention of your workshop in our Monthly e-newsletter (when possible)
Social Media mention of your workshop on @wheel of Life Instagram account
Mention on our in-house blackboard ‘What’s coming up..’ section
